Over 800 students and instructors are members of SkillsUSA Texas College/Postsecondary Division. The membership is organized in 120 chapters and 30 College/Postsecondary campuses.

State wide, teachers and school administrators serve as professional SkillsUSA members and instructors. More than 100 business, industry and labor sponsors actively support SkillsUSA through financial aid, in-kind contributions, and involvement of their people in SkillsUSA activities at Texas state level. Many partners work directly with the SkillsUSA Texas College/Postsecondary Division's State Office.

The SkillsUSA Texas College/Postsecondary Division's State Leadership and Skills Conference is the state-level competion for public high school and college/ and technical training program students (postsecondary). SkillsUSA programs focuses on students enrolled in trade, technical, and skilled service profession instructional programs including allied health occupations. Each first place winner from the state high school and college/postsecondary division unite at the National Championships in Kansas City, Mo as the Texas Delegation. The SkillsUSA students compete with students from across the nation and its territories, attend leadership training, and elect national officers, network with other students and industry partners. SkillsUSA organizes this event as the single greatest day of industry of volunteerism in America every year at an estimated cost of $25 million.
